My Reflection of the Small Key Essay Many couple are being involve the situation of Pedro and Soledad has, due to any circumstances they were able to come up their own unforgettable life. Pedro has missing his first wife and have his second wife named Soledad who is young compare to him. They were able to live and form a normal life, giving and caring to each other. This could be the beginning of a wonderful moment that they have but in some situation. Soledad being a second wife of Pedro, there were a time that she wondered the life of Pedro and discontented in the hand of his husband. Until they come with the first blow in their relationship, it was noon and the heat of the sun make Pedro to remove his coat and suddenly the small and rusty key were fall in their floor unconsciously Pedro give the large key to Soledad and the small one he kept it to his coat. Due to consciousness, Soledad trying to open the small trunk with the small key that Pedros memories of his first wife. Even she already knew that Pedros wife was died, she even felt jealous with Pedro thinking that he is still meeting wihtout her knowledge whenever Pedro leave their home. It was the time of the beginning of couple's misunderstanding prevail, Soledad burnt the left clothing of the first wife of Pedro. There might be a opposition in the side of Soledad that she kept in her mind. In the side of Pedro, knowing the violent behavior of his present wife and the reputation was being covered by Soledad then he felt angry that he never did those accusation done by Soledad to him except in cultivating their farm in order to prove his love to Soledad.
Instead of having a cruel conversation to soledad he conceived that Soledad is still a young in their relationship. It shows the goodness of pedro, forgiving Soledad in such meaningless behavior. In my side i agree with Pedros reaction in the reason that he has a lot of experiences compare to Soledad but i have a little mark noticed to her, she might be misinterpreted the real scene of the situation they has. May be she forgot that the wife of Pedro was already dead, there's nothing to get jealous towards Pedro. If i were Soledad, its better to impress the characteristic of Pedro's has, being a good and hardworking under the heat of the sun and he revealed the real scene of having a family but the only problem to him is he kept his feeling in his side towards Soledad. He should have a serious conversation to Soledad in order for them reset their worse situation they had.
I might be say in my own that getting married is not a easy task and responsibility because it is our commitment, we should face in whatever circumstances occurs in the life of having marriage. Like Soledad, she let her self to have relationship to Pedro out of her little knowledge about the life of having a husband. Maybe she misinterpreted the her role as a wife, instead of encouraging Pedro to be less conscious out of his past memories. I really agree with Pedro's Principle in the reason of after the death of his first wife, after his heart was broken, he was able to rebuilt his confidence to form another journey of life with full of love and unique experiences showing respect to woman.
